Problem definition

Today, customers can raise a request as a Reporter and appoint themselves as the Approver as well. In some cases, this should be prohibited but it's not possible in Jira out-of-the-box.

Suggestion

To have an option/any validation check to allow or reject request creation if the Reporter or the Creator = Approver of the same request

Why is it important

In many business use cases, a user shouldn't be able to approve his/her own request. For example, expenses claim approvals that should only be approved by the authorized managers in the company. It should be able to prevent Reporters from being able to approve their own requests.
