      Ideally, we could have an option in the content-by-label macro to exclude the current page that it's on. Might not even need to be an option, perhaps it could always operate that way and it would make sense.

            This seems like pretty basic expected functionality... None of the filters even let you use "not page named" or something even, so there truly is no workaround as far as I can tell.

            This is a duplicate of CONFSERVER-5245 is it not? That issue is from 2006...

            We've just run across this problem. Having the ability to exclude the page you're viewing from Related Articles seems like very basic functionality that the macro should support.

            Once again common-sense reasoning seems to have escaped Atlassian when it comes to basic functionality - in favour of 'sexier' stuff like mobile apps ... do they have the same "95% is good enough lets move on" flaws?  Why on earth would an article reference itself??

            I've just found this behaviour. This ticket has been open for a while, is it going to go into the Jira backlog?
