Issue Summary

When a JIRA project has a similar Request Type in multiple Request type Groups on the page Your Project > Project Settings > Request Types.

For example:

JIRA does not show the request Request Type Group hence this makes it difficult if the group was used to categorize things like a department in the View issue screen.

Feature Request

Add a field to show the Request Type Group so that it is easier to identify under which group the ticket in question was raised.

Existing Behavior

There is no field available that shows the value of the Request Type group selected for the request type when creating the issue.

Workaround

Rename the request types adding the group name into the request type.

Use different projects for different departments to ensure that you can know which group the request type comes from for each project.
