      Problem Definition

      When debugging JIRA Service Desk issues it can be helpful to disable 3rd party add-ons to determine if they are triggering the issue.

      However, safe mode in JIRA which is typically used for this disables Service Desk as well. So you must disable 3rd party add-ons manually (very time consuming) rather than use safe mode.

      Suggested Solution

      Do not disable Service Desk when JIRA is put into safe mode

      Workaround

      Manually disable 3rd party add-ons when debugging issues.
