Summary
The 'Quick Search Bar/buttons' in the top bar of JIRA appear in different locations in IE compared to Firefox/Chrome.
To the untrained user, the 'Quick Search Bar/buttons' appears missing when it is actually present in the far right of the Browser window.
Environment
N/A
Steps to Reproduce
- Install JIRA Service Desk 3.2.7 (or the latest 3.3.1 version)
- Create an 'IT Service Desk' project with sample data
- Once logged in, go to Projects > click on the newly created Service Desk project
- Click on 'Queues' on the left menu
- Click on the 'Edit Queue' button on the right
- Add lots of columns (i.e. Description, Priority, Progress, Rank, Project, Resolution, Watchers, Labels, etc..)
- Press Save
- View the above Queue view in IE, Firefox and Chrome
Expected Results
The 'Quick Search Bar/buttons' in the top right bar should appear in the same location independent of the web browser.
Actual Results
- In Firefox/Chrome - the 'Quick Search Bar/buttons' in the top bar are pushed to the right. User has to scroll across to get to them
- In IE - the 'Quick Search Bar/buttons' in the top right bar cling to the browser window
(See attached screen shots below)

Workaround
The workaround provided is to advise the user to scroll to the right to get access to the 'Quick Search Bar/buttons' or reduce the number of columns if possible.
