      Problem Definition

      When Alert User action is used, an email will be sent as follow

      Subject: <user> mentioned you on <issue key>
      Content: This issue requires your attention. <list of username>

      Suggested Resolution

      Ability to customise own content and subject.

            This ticket was raised 03/Nov/2016 9:56 AM and is unassigned...  Does that mean it is never going to be considered or is there an alternative thread we all need to vote on.

            What exactly needs to happen for this to get noticed by Atlassian developers??

            I would like to Vote for this as well. This would be a helpful if we can customize the comment message.

            This feature would really help us alert our app support teams more effectively.  Please prioritise

            Yes please! At least show the priority so we can filter out customer Blocker issues. At the moment these ones get lost amongst the other Mention emails.

            This is important to us since it is easy to miss due to the format used today. We are looking at other ways to do this but it is not efficient to update JIRA default templates every time you do a Service Desk upgrade. Please priorities this suggestion, the function is almost useless to us as it is designed today.
