    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We would like to be able to add screenshots directly inline from the description field in the Customer Portal. You can now do this from within JIRA itself which is nice and you can now paste screenshots in the portal (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-725) which is also nice but the use case we have is for customers who are trying to describe something using screenshots.

For instance, customer comes to the Service Desk portal and starts creating a ticket. In the description they want to say:
I can't log in. Here is a screenshot of the login screen:
      (screenshot of login screen)
When I supply my username and password I get this error:
      (screenshot of the error screen)

Today you cannot do this from the Customer Portal. You can attach images but you cannot easily relate those images to the text in the description.
