Atlassian status update as of May 2019

      This has been fixed.
      Please refer https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedesk/jira-service-desk-4-2-x-release-notes-967877779.html#JiraServiceDesk4.2.xreleasenotes-sourcecode for details.

Atlassian status update as of 30th August 2018

      Hello All,

Firstly, apologies if updates seem sparse. We make every attempt to be as responsive / up to date as possible on our JAC tickets, but sometimes, the volume of comments make responding to every ticket impossible.

With so many different features, capabilities, and enhancements we can make to the product, I hope you can understand it's a balancing act for us. I can assure you that, this request continues to be on our radar amongst other priorities.

Once we've made significant progress, I shall be updating this ticket again.

Thank you for your patience and support.

Atlassian status update as of 4th August 2017

      Hello all,

We are aware that this is important and something our customers expect. The good news is that this is one of our priorities right now and we're exploring ways to make it available. While I’d like to give you a clear timeframe for when we can deliver this I, unfortunately can't do that quite yet.

We’ll keep you posted as we progress. Thanks again for your patience.

      Sincerely,

      Vidhu Sharma

            Hi markm820418057,

I had a look into this to see if the source is being published and I can see that it does appear to be there. Do you have a specific example of an API implementation which is missing?

I downloaded the source for JSM 4.14 from https://my.atlassian.com/download/source/jira-servicedesk/zip/48619 and if you navigate to servicedesk-parent-pom, this contains the maven project with all the source code.

Please let me know if I am missing something here.

            Thanks,

            Craig

Can we get this re-opened to get the real source code?

            Thanks.

This is marked as Closed/Fixed but the source code is really clearly missing the implementations of the interfaces – Giving us the API package only barely gives us more than the Javadoc. What the hell!?

Bump! Would be great if you'd make the source code available, especially since Jira Service Desk can be deployed stand-alone and all other stand-alone Atlassian products have source code available for download.

Yes, an update (even a timeframe to expect) would be greatly appreciated.

It's been 4 months since the latest update on this ticket - may we have an update on the progress on this, please? Thank you.
