Description
When using the Service Desk comment templates, if the customer's display name has an apostrophe, the name is displayed with encoding.
Example: Hi Test U'ser, displays as Hi Test U'ser,
We have tested with several other characters and they all display not-encoded, as it should:
- ü (u-umlat)
- - (hyphen)
- * (asterisk)
- _ (underscore)
Additionally, if we type a apostrophe/single quote into the comment box, it shows not-encoded.
If we try to edit the comment, the apostrophe in the name is encoded again.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an user with an apostrophe on the name (e.g. JIRA's Administrator)
- Try to add a comment on the issue and see the encoded character on the comment field.
