As part of the JSD 3.1 update, the width of all customer portal pages (request form, portal home, etc.) has become very narrow. This significantly degrades the user experience:
- Text boxes are narrow and require a lot of scrolling.
- Many titles are truncated with ellipses.
- Explanatory text now wraps over several lines.

added a comment - This is a major issue when trying to deal with data that requires a significant width. This needs to be variable to work with the data.

added a comment - Hi Marty, I see this in all browsers (tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) and operating systems (OS X and Windows 7). I think the root of the issue lies with the CSS that is limiting the content to 700px wide. Previous releases (e.g. 3.0.x) had a much wider area so this wasn't a problem.

is there a particular browser or device where you are seeing this behaviour?

With HiDPI diplays more common now, the width should be dynamic, not fixed.
