      Hey Team

      Our JIRA instance is: https://visualjazz.jira.com/

I'm in charge of our (~50) Service Desks and am having some trouble with emails.

The ticket notification emails are coming through OK, and the replies are logging with the system fine.

The issue lies with the "Invitation" emails, when you invite a customer to join a Service Desk, and with the "Reset Password" emails, from the Service Desk Portal.

Many of our clients are reporting that these are just not being received. I can think of at least 10 reports this year.

Is this a common issue? Is there any way to resolve this without trying to have the domain whitelisted?

Thanks in advance for your help!
      Donna

Given that they are cutting support/renewal for Jira Server I guess is now moot.

Hi, same problem here. And I agree with @Keith Shaw, the set priority is a bad joke. The first thing you can do now @Julien Rey, is to set this priority high. The bug is almost 5 years old. Is there a record to be set here?

I fully agree with Keith. Also for us, the fact that users cannot reset their own password is a major problem for our company.

Bumping up this thread again in agreement with Will and many others. The fact that this is LOW is INSANE.

With thousands of users this is a major impediment that immediately irritates new users.

Please upgrade the priority of this! This currently means users have no means to reset their own password! I am inundated with users email me to reset their passwords for them!

I am having a similar problem but with Atlassian itself.  We had an employee who created a "ourcompany.atlassian.net" account to try out Jira a couple of months ago, and then he left the company.  I reset his g-suite password so I could reset his Atlassian password and gain control of the account, but his account never gets the password reset email.  If I try to reset my own password, I get the email right away even though we're on the same domain.  I raised a ticket with Atlassian, and they said I'd have to raise a ticket from his account, which I tried... except he never gets the email ticket either.  --_ – It seems like for some reason Atlassian just really doesn't want to send emails to him.  I eventually gave up and created a "ourcompany2.atlassian.net".

We have the same issue. This is such a basic and important feature, it's hard to believe that it hasn't been fixed in three years. Please fix this Atlassian!
