• We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Service Desk Customers can be added to JIRA groups (for organization purposes) but this has to be done via the User Management page. As an admin, it would be great if we can add these customers to groups straight from the Service desk page

      Suggestion

      1. Have an Groups button in the Service Desk page to allow admins to add customers to groups without having to navigate to the User Management page
      2. Allow admins to specify a group when they invite customers. When the customer creates an account, they will automatically be added to this group
