The "SHOW ALL" link in the Assets custom field is not functioning as intended (Jira 11.3.6 and 11.3.7)

XMLWordPrintable

    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Priority: Low
    • None
    • Affects Version/s: 11.3.6, 11.3.7
    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Issue Summary

For the assets custom field, if the object attributes on the Issue view contain more than five values, the "SHOW ALL" button will appear in the custom field. However, upon clicking the "SHOW ALL" button, it does not display all the attribute values.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Configure an object type and create a user attribute with unlimited cardinality.
      • Create an assert object with more than five values for the user attribute.
      • Create a custom field of type asset objects and configure it accordingly.
      • In the assets custom field, navigate to the object attributes section on the issue view and select the User attribute.
      • Create an Jira issue and select the object under asset custom field.

      Expected Results

Clicking the "SHOW ALL" button will reveal all the values associated with the user attribute.

      Actual Results

The SHOW ALL button does not respond when clicked and we see an error in the console log . The SHOW ALL button does not work at all, even on the initial attempt.

      Workaround

No workaround at this moment. This is likely a regression. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-16326 is showing that the issue was fixed on Jira 11.3.0 but we are able to replicate the same behavior in newer versions of jira.
