Customers may have several Discovery tool instances deployed, or to be deployed on remote hosts.

Currently, deployment is limited to the provided installer, which includes the set of default patterns.

Custom Patterns are being encrypted with local salt when added to Discovery (in ...\discovery tools\patterns.bpat).

For remote deployments, it will be beneficial if we will be able to distribute customized patterns:

1. By adding customized patterns to the installer, so once deployed, customized patterns can be automatically included and enabled in Discovery.
2. By allowing remote file transfer (similar to Agents' Files Transfer / Pattern transfer list) to accessible Discovery tool instances (e.g. given an IP range)
3. Using CLI or API
4. Using the Collector as a distribution hub - when Discovery transfers scan results files to the collector, it checks for updated, validated and secured patterns to download and implement.
