      Problem

Jira Login-free behaves unexpectedly when having Reporter in the Service Desk Agent project permission
With Jira Service Management configured for Login-free in the Customer Portal, after the first ticket creation, which works fine, the following ones gives a misleading error message.

It says: "Make sure all required fields are filled in, and all values provided are correct"

      Expected Results

Users can continue opening tickets with the login-free feature properly configured.

If there are any issues with the configuration or if additional permissions are required, an appropriate error message will be displayed. This message will inform users of the specific permissions that need to be set or any other steps that must be taken to resolve the issue, ensuring they can proceed with opening tickets smoothly.

      Actual Results

Once the first ticket is created, the user falls under the Reporter permissions, and the request creation fails with a required field warning due to the permission scheme misconfiguration

      Workaround

Remove the "Reporter" permission from the Service Desk Agent permission under each Project Permissions.

Alternatively, you can navigate to Project Settings. Once there, a pop-up will appear, notifying about permission errors in the project. Check the pop-up and fix the errors reported.
