Issue Summary

• If you switch from any tab of the Activity panel to the Comments tab for a Jira Service Management(JSM issue), the Comments page jumps up and comes down immediately: JSM_2025-08-14T10:02:26.077Z.mov
• You don't see the same behaviour for the Jira Software(JSW) project. The Comments page remains static if you switch from any other tab of the Activity panel, no jumping up and down: JSW_2025-08-14T10:06:16.414Z.mov

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new JSM and JSW project.
2. Create an issue in both projects and add multiple comments.
3. In the JSM/JSW project issue, switch from any tab of the Activity panel to the Comments tab.

Expected Results

The Comments page remains static if you switch from any other tab of the Activity panel, no jumping up and down.

Actual Results

• For the JSM project issue, switching from any tab of the Activity panel to the Comments tab, the Comments page jumps up and comes down immediately.
• For the JSW project issue, the Comments page remains static if you switch from any other tab of the Activity panel, no jumping up and down

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
