Issue Summary
Label templates created before JSM 5.13 lost formatting after upgrading Jira to JSM 5.13 later due to new editor for print label templates and textarea attributes in Assets
Customers can still utilize the label and print it; however, issues arise when modifications are required. When attempting to edit the template, the layout and formatting are lost, preventing customers from creating a new template with the new editor, as they cannot even view how the original template appeared.
Steps to Reproduce
- Configure print labels in JSM 5.12.x
- Upgrade Jira to JSM 5.13 or later
- Go to Object schema > Configure > Switch to the Label templates tab > click edit on the label
- Label template should be able to keep its formatting
Actual Results
- Assets print label templates lost formatting
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
