Currently, any transition to a customer-visible status will generate a customer notification (such as transitioning an issue to Closed status). You can toggle ALL the customer notifications to all customer visible statuses off, but there is no toggle per individual status.
This request is to be able to configure customer notifications based on the status the issue is transitioning to.
