      Screenshot

      Actual Results

When users interact with the "Employee Start Date" form field, they have identified that the instruction for the required date format is missing.

This lack of instruction may create confusion, making it unclear to users what format they should use when entering the date.

As a result, users with screen readers and those with cognitive impairments may find it difficult to correctly fill out this field.

      Expected Results

Ensure that the required date format instruction is provided so users can enter the date in the correct format.

      Apply the following changes:

      • Provide a visible instruction for the required date format using the <div> element below the form field.
      • Add the "aria-describedby" attribute to the form field.
      • Add the "id" attribute to the container that displays the required date format instruction.
      • Reference the "id" attribute value of the container displaying the required date format instruction in the "aria-describedby" attribute.

Alternatively, if the above approach is not feasible, provide the required date format instruction directly within the visible label.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
