Issue Summary
When utilizing service project queues, if the issue display filter includes a custom field of the asset type, it becomes impossible to remove the custom field. Even after editing the queue to remove the custom field and saving the changes, the asset custom field continues to be displayed.
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom field of the type Asset object. As illustrated in the screenshot below, the Asset object custom field has been created with the name "IT Service."

- Create few issues with above custom field

- From your service project sidebar, go to Queues.
- Click on New queue and under the issues to show, select asset custom field "IT service"

- click on create
- Once the queue is created, click on edit queue

- As illustrated in the image below, remove the asset custom field from the issues to show filter, and then click 'Save'.

- Please edit the filter again after removing the IT service asset custom field. In the edit screen, the same IT service custom field will still be visible.

Expected Results
The asset custom field should be removed from the issues to show filter.
Actual Results
The asset custom field is not being removed, despite efforts to eliminate it by editing the queue.
Workaround
Switch to advanced search using JQL and remove the asset fields.
