Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- go to Assets > Object schemas.
- Select an object schema and an object type.
- Select an object.
- Select Activity at the bottom of the object overview page, and then click Add Comments.
- Mention a user in the comment.

The issue remains consistent whether the comment is included in the object view page or the object detailed view (e.g. /secure/ObjectSchema.jspa?id=<id>&typeId=<id>&objectId=<id>).
Expected Results
As long as your SMTP server defined for Jira itself is up and running the notifications should be sent also for Insight in relationship to:
- Jira user mentioned in any object comment.
Actual Results
Notification works for the following two use cases.
- Insight automation rule set to send a mail notifications as action.
- Insight user watching an object and any comment is added to the object.
Notification email is not sent for the following use case.
- Jira user mentioned in any object comment.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
