At present Assets Discovery is only configurable by connecting to the computer it is running on and then running a command line argument. Some customers would like to be able to access Discovery remotely for configuration through their browsers, rather than having to use a remote access solution.

If Assets Discovery can be made to listen for HTTP/HTTPS traffic and allow login and configuration through a web-based browser interface this would save the customer time when needing to configure the tool.
