Add distinguishing characteristic to JSM Permission Warning/Error screen

Details

    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

    Description

Currently if there is an error or a warning in the permission scheme for JSM a toaster popup appears. For example, if the 'Delete Issues' permission is missing from the following roles:

      • Project Role (Administrators)
      • Project Role (Service Desk Team)
      • Service Desk Customer - Portal Access

If it is just this one issue, then the dialog will be yellow in color indicating that this is just a warning and can be dismissed. However if you have an error (such as the Browse Project permission not being assigned to the Customer Portal users) the dialog will show both issues (the Delete and Browse Project permission issue) but the dialog will be red and there is no option to dismiss it.

This is confusing since it makes it look like both issues need to be addressed as both are errors. However in reality only 1 of the 2 issues are errors, the other is a warning. It would be helpful to provide an indicator on which issue is an error and which is a warning so that the proper action can be taken to address the error condition first.
