When setting permissions for Assets schemas and objects, it's currently only possible to set the based on users and groups.

Another method which could be used is to allow permissions based on Jira project roles. This will allow for dynamic permissions based on the role of a user in a project. This approach would be extremely handy for schema or object-centric projects who manage a large amount of objects and projects in large instances.
