      Issue Summary

Object is not very user friendly when objects have a lot of cases with similar labels, due to limit of the options in a Dropdown list.

This issue is firstly reported as a Bug JSDSERVER-7339

This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create an objectType called Test for example with an object attribute called reference
      2. Create over 25 objects in that objectType Reference, let these object have uniqenames.
      3. Go back and edit the attributes reference in the Test objectType, see that you cannot select all the objects within those objects that are above 25, because you are only able so select 25 and not above 25 which makes some of the objects missing from the list.

      Expected Results

Users should be able to quickly find the object they are looking for without typing a long name.

      Actual Results

      1. Users have to type the whole name to see the object they want to choose if the option list is longer than 25.
      2. The 25 limit is hard coded
      3. Search option is also limited to searching by label of the object.

This requires the user to know roughly the Label of the object searched.
This will not be efficient if you have many objects with the same name / including the same search string

      Workaround

      No workaround
