Discovery agent support for Mac OS

    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Currently, Insight Discovery agent is only supported on Linux and Windows machines (Discovery system requirements). Firewall rules prevent some users from scanning MacOS from Discovery instance.

      This suggestion request is for support of agent installation on MacOS.

            With our devices enrolled into InTune MDM and Apples limited MDM support we have no option to edit the firewall on MacOS and allow specific ports, its literally just Firewall block all, or Firewall "Not configured"

            So a MacOS client would be fantastic for us if it can not be limited by the firewall or have the option to save exports on a server that the collector could upload .etc
