Currently, it's not possible to scan mobile devices as per this doc (FYI mentioned in cloud-only docs - cannot find this for On-Prem): https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/insight-discovery-knowledge-base/
Can we discover cell phones with your product?
No. As of factory default Apple iOS or Android do not support any kind of remote access like SSH or SNMP. We cannot recommend Jailbreaking or Rooting your devices to gain remote access.
Therefore we would like to request native agent apps for Apple and Android devices that behave the same as the Windows Agents.
Please find the below points which we are looking on Mobile Agent features:
- Need the same information as Discovery is providing after scanning an agent.
- Connected devices.
- Applications installed on mobile.
- OS details
- Memory details
- Storage details
- Infrastructure, owner details.
- Mobile warranty status etc...
As of now, we need this information as a minimum requirement, anything extra would be beneficial.
