Issue Summary
The element is not accessible by keyboard alone and there is no conforming accessible version of the same functionality reachable from the non-conforming page.
Element name: Clear link icons for
- Paste link
- Text to display.
Location: Present in the "Comment on this request" edit field.
Steps to reproduce: When the user activates the "Link" button in the "Comment on this request" edit field.
- Then the above-mentioned form fields will display.
- Then type random text in the fields
- Then the clear link icons will appear in the above-mentioned fields.
Note - Please remove role="presentation" for these elements.
Steps to Reproduce
- In the Help portal, select the My request button and select All Requests.
- In the available request, select any 1 request.
- In the Available page, select the Comment tab.
- In the comment section try to add a link.
- A non-modal will appear to add a link and its link text.
- After adding the link and link text the buttons will appear to delete the link and the link text.
Actual Results
The delete link and link text button in the non-modal is not operable with a mouse or keyboard. But the screen reader user is able to navigate on the image and is announced to them. This makes the user interact with the button and they try to activate it to clear the link and link text but the functionality doesn't take place. This makes the assistive for tech users difficult to use the feature.
Expected Results
Provide <button> to the delete icon element and remove the role="presentation".
Ensure the icon is accessible with a mouse click, keyboard "Enter" activate, and also with a screen reader.

Can manually delete the whole link with backspace.
