Issue Summary
When using Discovery Agents, we can set a ScanInterval in the Agent.cfg file.
Based on Set up Discovery Agent (Optional), the value entered is in hours but if we set it to any other value that 24, it triggers in minutes (tested with 1,2,5,10)
ScanInterval Set the interval of performed scans in hours.
Default is 24 hours.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Issue was tested in Discovery 3.1.0, 3.1.3 and 3.1.4.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Discovery Agent in a Windows OS as per Set up Discovery Agent (Optional)
- Go to the Discovery Agent directory where it got installed
- Edit the Agent.cfg file. By default ScanInterval is set to 24.
- Change it to 1
<ScanInterval>1</ScanInterval>
- Change it to 1
Expected Results
Agent should be triggered every hour
Actual Results
Agent is triggered every minute
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
