Problem

Currently, the 'Create linked issue' feature is basically a clone + link issue in a single step. The newly created linked issue will have similar custom field values, labels, etc as the original issue.

This is not always the desired behaviour, and so the user will have to manually remove the values from these fields after creation.

Suggested Solution

Add an option for users to decide whether they want the new linked issue to copy the original issue's custom field values. Better yet, give users ability to choose which custom field values to copy when using this feature.

Why This Is Important

Not all custom field values are relevant to the linked issue, so having to manually remove them (especially when it's a lot) could be troublesome.

Workaround

No known workaround. Have to manually remove the field values after creation of the linked issue
