Issue in queue : The menu button to Switch queues has missing label.

    XMLWordPrintable

Description

    Issue Summary

The Switch queue button in the main content area for the Queues page has a missing label.

    Tested URL

    https://instenv-21072-japp.instenv.internal.atlassian.com/projects/BIG/queues/custom/1

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Launch the URL
    2. In the header section, navigate to the issues and select any issue.
    3. In the left sidebar section, select the "Queues" link.
    4. In the header section for the Issue container, keeping the screen reader on, navigate to the "Switch queue" button.

    Actual Results

On the "Queues" page, the "Switch queue" button in the Issue container header section does not have a label or a descriptive text associated with it. Hence the assistive technology users will be unable to identify the purpose of this button.

    Expected Results

Add a descriptive label for the menu button via the aria-label attribute. For example, provide the label “Switch queue menu". This will help to make the purpose of form controls meaningful for screen reader users.

A sample working example could be found at: https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/apg/example-index/menu-button/menu-button-links.html
