Description
Issue Summary
The "Close" button in the Share these results modal is missing an accessible name/label. As a result, its functionality or purpose is not conveyed to screen reader users.
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch the URL
- In the header section Navigate to "Insights" and activate the link.
- Select the "Search objects" link from the insights menu.
- In the Search filter section, in the IQL query field add a filter query and Navigate to the "Share" button.
- A modal for the Share these results will appear, navigate to the "Close" button keeping the screen reader on.
Actual Results
On the "Search Objects" page, the "Close" button for the Share these results modal does not have a label or a descriptive text associated with it. The screen reader announces it as a plain "button", which does not indicate its associated functionality. Hence the assistive technology users will be unable to identify the purpose of this button.
Expected Results
Add a descriptive label for the menu button via the aria-label attribute. For example, provide the label “Close Share results”. This will help to make the purpose of form controls meaningful for screen reader users.
