      We discovered after updating to Jira Software 8.20.7, that the comment field in the portal does not behave as you would expect it. Especially not like as our customers did.

      Current behaviour:

      • Click into the comment field
      • Comment field opens and the text field with the options is visible
      • The cursor for the comment field is not set.
      • Again a click into the text field is necessary to set the cursor in the text field and to be able to type the comment

      Expected behaviour:

      • Click into the comment field
      • Comment field opens, the text field with the options is visible, and the cursor is set in the text field and the customer can directly start to insert his comment.
