Original: h3. Issue Summary Prior to Insight Discovery v.3.0.0 - the Collector would have split the collected data into two zip files: one with the Hosts results, one with Discovery Settings, and adding an XML File to include the Collector information. Since Discovery v.3.0.0 the collector moves the Zipped file as they are, and never adds a Collector XML. When importing the files into Insight - there is an Object Type / OT Map for the Collector, but no Collector Object is created h3. Steps to Reproduce  # Configure the Collector to pick up scan result zips and move them to another directory / cloud (any Export Type).  # Check the Transported Zip files for a collector xml file  # Import the transported files into a predefined structure / configuration (Server or Cloud) h3. Expected Results A Collector XML was added to the transported Zip files, the Collector Object is created by the Import h3. Actual Results No Collector XML file, and no Collector Object is created in Insight {noformat} ... {noformat} h3. Workaround You may create the Collector Manually for documenting purposes, but it will not get updated if any changes to the configuration were made.
