Improve AWS Insight integration setup when having multiple accounts

    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      At the moment the AWS integration requires to setup multiple import if there are several accounts in an AWS organization, as the integration use the authentication per IAM user.

      Please improve the integration allowing the setup of an entire AWS organization over one import config.

      As a workaround for now multiple IAM roles can be granted to IAM user.

            Hi guys,

            This is an important feature for our customers and this imposes a security issue as we have to share the secret key in plain text with Insight as well as it's not really a scalable solution for Enterprise customers having 100+ accounts. Creating an import for each account and sharing a separate secret is not the recommended way.

            Adding support for roles is recommended by AWS and we would really appreciate if you could review this feature request.
