Description
Issue Summary
When Browsing to, or otherwise following the link to an anchor for a header on a page from the Service Desk portal, you will be redirected a number of times, and eventually end on a page that will give a "Not Found
We are having trouble finding that. Check the details and try again." error on the page. There are no errors or warnings reported in the Browser.
An alternate behavior is that you can get redirected to the page in Confluence. This seems to be dependent on the instance as I was not able to isolate the reason for the different behavior.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a KB article with a good amount of text on it.
- Make some of the text into sections by adding some headers
- publish the page, then copy the link to at least one of the headers, edit the page, and add that link to the page.
- go to the page in service desk portal, and click the link, alternatively, add the "#" anchor code to the URL and browse to that, you will definitely trigger the error effect.
Expected Results
The user is directed to the anchor on the page.
Actual Results
You will either get redirected to the error page, or you will be redirected to the actual confluence page. Either outcome is not desired.
Workaround
There is not a known workaround at this time. However, there is also the possibility to remove the anchors and make sure that the customer will be redirected to the KB.
