At the moment, the Assets API provides a placeholder for arbitrary attributes. At the moment though, these attributes cannot be used in Jira out of the box.

Suggestions :

Allow assets arbitrary attributes to be usable in Jira

• JQL search based on asset attributes
• Display asset attributes on the asset field.
• Allow to choose an asset based on attributes chosen by the end user.
