Issue Summary
If an email is sent to a JSD project email address to create a new ticket and this email contains one or more large attachments (8-20MB), there seems to be an edge case where JEPP will process the same email multiple times as it will be picked up again before the processing of the attachments is complete.
This will create multiple issues from the same email.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a JSD project.
- Enable the email channel for incoming JSD tickets.
- Send an email with large attachments (between 8-20MB) to the project's email address to create a new ticket.
Expected Results
The email and attachments are processed once and a single ticket is created.
Actual Results
The same email may be processed multiple times creating duplicate JSD tickets
*This can be confirmed by cloud support by checking the email headers in A0_2C4E5C_MAIL_ITEM_CHUNK table and if the email ID for in each header for each ticket matches this confirms the same email has been processed multiple times.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available, however, you can just delete the duplicate tickets if they are created.
