Adding a Flag on a Service Desk ticket using a Board, shows the comment and flag as public, even selecting “Comment internally”

      Issue Summary

      We all know that Boards are not available for Jira Service Desk, but we have the option to create a private board and add SD tickets there.

      When adding a comment thought the board, the same as on Service Desk view, there is an option to add public and internal comments, which works as expected.

      We also know that the Flag option is not available for Service Desk as mentioned here, but when we use this option thought a personal board, the Flag shows as a public comment, even if we select it as “Comment internally”.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to a personal board where it shows Service Desk tickets.
      2. Click on … to add a Flag
      3. Select to add an internal comment

      Expected Results

      The comment is internal and not shown on the portal.

      Actual Results

      The comment for Flags shows in the customer portal and also a notification is sent to the customer.

       

      Workaround

      Add the flag and then add a new internal comment with the reasons.
