Improve the search experience in the Knowledge base section of JSM cloud

      Problem:

      The search functionality in the knowledge base section of Jira service desk projects has the following limitations:

      • The search results are limited to 25 results max
      • Search results are ranked based on which articles have been recently modified

      Suggested solutions:

      • Provide more than 25 search results to be displayed on the search page or multiple pages of search results.
      • Allow extra filtering and sorting options for the knowledge base search results. eg title, author, last modified, tags etc 
      • Let the search engine similar to what we have on Confluence, in order to improve the results of our search
