Summary
When you're uploading a new attachment using the Clip Icon in the New Issue View for Service Desk the system is returning the following error when you're trying to save the comment.
We couldn't save your comment
It might be empty or have invalid formatting. If you copy-pasted, try removing the formatting and adding it directly in the editor.
In the Devtools, we could find this 400 error.
{"errorMessages":[],"errors":{"comment":"Comment body is not valid!"}}
Also, this problem is just happening when you're trying to add a new attachment, in case you choose one that was already uploaded, you'll not face the problem.
Steps to Reproduce
- Access one Service Desk issue using the New Issue View.
- Click on the Clip Icon to add an attachment.
- Upload a new file and Insert it.
- Click to Save the comment.
You can check the full video down below.
Expected Results
The comment should be saved and the attachment added into the ticket.
Actual Results
It's not possible to save the comment and add the attachment.
Workaround
As a workaround, it's possible to add the attachment using the Add internal note and Reply to customer options instead of the Clip Icon. You can check this procedure at the following video.
