When logging into my organization's Jira dashboard with brave for first time using the brave browser, the default action of the brave shield is to block that redirect. I disabled both the google sign on site as well as the id.Atlassian site to be able to login.

Please contact the brave browser team to update their rules to allow the redirects without requiring user intervention.
