      The "create sub-tasks" buttons are now available in the new issue view for Jira Service Desk projects.

      Problem Definition

      The new issue view in Jira Software includes the a button to create a sub-task and the old issue view for Jira Service Desk includes the Create sub-task option in the ellipses menu.

      Neither of these are available in the new issue view in Jira Service Desk.

      Current Jira Software (new issue view):

      Suggested Solution

      Include the create sub-task button in the Jira Service Desk new issue view.

      Workaround

      Switch to the old issue view to access the Create sub-task option in the ellipses menu
