Add a report to keep track of negative feedback on Knowledge Base articles

    • 24
    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Currently, Jira will only keep track of positive ("thumbs up") feedback on KB articles, on the "Requests deflected in portal" series in reports.

However, there's no tracking of negative ("thumbs down") feedback.

It'd be useful to display that feedback in order to provide better articles to customers.

[JSDCLOUD-8142] Add a report to keep track of negative feedback on Knowledge Base articles

I would love to see that feature implemented, we have no idea how many articles we are getting thumbs up or down.

This is misleading, to say the least. When they clicked on , it says, "Thanks for your feedback.". Little they know that their feedback would never reach the agents. I agree with everyone if this is not going to be prioritised, let's not have it.

I wish when they click on , it let them put some optional description if they want to.

Agree.  Is there any way to report/export current articles? like a sheet with creation date, last modified date, etc?

Agreed - this feature would be invaluable for our metrics.

We really need to measure the unhelpful articles !!

Maybe until this is prioritised the thumbs down could be removed? There is an expectation that if a user provides feedback we can act on it...

I also agree with Malin - no point in being able to vote 'No' if we can't track it.

I agree with you, Malin. Customers can vote no, but we cant know about it to improve?

Does this work in Server and not Cloud I'm very surprised and feel this is a bug. The button doesn't work, it doesn't do anything.

This should absolutely be able to be reported on, and there should be a way to get an explanation for why the article was not helpful to the individual.
