Description
Issue Summary
While sending an email to a service desk project's email channel, if the TO/CC list contains email address(es) which are not part of the same organization as the reporter, then none of the CC(ed) email addresses are added as request participants.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set a JSD project customer permissions to "Who can customers share requests with? Other customers in their organization. If they're not in an organization, they won't find anyone.";
- Add Customer A and Customer B to an Organization A;
- Customer A sends an email to the project's email requests address with Customer B and Customer C, on the To or CC* fields.
Expected Results
Jira creates a ticket with Customer A as reporter and Customer B as request participant, Customer C is ignored
Actual Results
Jira creates a ticket only with Customer A as a reporter and ignores Customer B and C as request participant
Workaround
Change customer permissions to "Who can customers share requests with? Any customer, by typing an email address."
See How global customer permissions impact project permissions.
