Summary
Confusion is caused becuase Jira users who do not have Jira service desk application access (are not agents) are able to see the "organization" field on Jira issue view of tickets, however, they are not able to search by this field. They expect that since they can see the field value, they should be able to be able to search by the "Organization" field in the Issue Navigator.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Issue Navigator
- Select advance search
- JQL search containing organization field, example: organization not in ("abc")
Expected Results
If the Jira users are able to see the "Organization" field on the tickets , they should also be able to search by it. Or, they should not be able to see the organization field on the issue. It is causing confusion.
Actual Results
- Error retuned stating that only agents are able to use the "Organization" JQL function.
