Description
Summary
The new service desk customer portal search only returns 3 results per search.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a service desk project
- Create a knowledge base for it
- Create 4 pages or more starting with How-to
- Access the customer portal page and search for How-to
Expected Results
The search should return all knowledge base pages containing how-to.
Actual Results
It only returns 3 suggestions.
Notes
This is just an example case but it's visible how much impact it can bring to service desks with big knowledge bases.
The ticket deflection will be highly affected by this problem as the customers must know the entire name of the knowledge base to find it.
Workaround
Contact Atlassian Support sharing the impact that this is taking in your business.
Suggestion
Implement a view all results or view more link.
