Summary

• When looking at a JSD Report, values will not appear for current month. Instead values displayed will be for incorrect month (previous month)
• Only occurs for Reports shown by: Past year by month
• JSD Report Gadget will also display incorrect information

Environment

• JIRA Service Desk Cloud

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log into instance
2. Change timezone in User Profile to Jira default (GMT+00:00)
3. View JSD Report
4. Show: Past year by month
5. Compare results with CSV export on Report. If numbers do not match, you are impacted

Expected Results

• Correct values for correct months

Actual Results

• Report displays values from current month on previous month
  • Example: Looking Feb 2018, the values will be for March 2018 but the text will say Feb 2018

• Does not occur for all users. Root cause of the issue is due to a Timezone configuration. Users with the correct timezone will see the right values, while user with a different timezone will see incorrect information

Workaround

Option A:

• Exporting Report via CSV will provide correct values

Option B:
Adjusting timezone will fix the issue for most users

4. Timezone > choose a different timezone
5. Update
6. Reload Report
