Customer can not access Portal when a request type has duplicate field configuration

      Summary

      A request type that is configured to have the same issue field multiple times will prevent customer portal from loading.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      • Create a new project
      • Add the same field multiple times to a request type (not possible in the UI) 

       

      • Go to customer portal and the validation will prevent the page from loading.

                   

      Expected Results:

      Customer portal shows up normally.

      Actual Results

      The loading circle for the Customer portal keeps spinning indefinitely

      Notes

      This problem could also occur when the misconfiguration is not in the current project.

      Workaround

      The corrupt request type field configuration has to be cleaned up. Please contact Support at support.atlassian.com
