*Confluence Table of Contents macro is now supported on Jira Service Desk Cloud knowledge base *
Hi all, just want to let you all know table of content macro is now supported on Jira Service Desk Cloud. Go try it out today!
Summary
When a Confluence KB Space is linked to a Service Desk project, the Table of Contents Macro is not displayed on any page containing the macro when viewing from the Customer Portal as a Customer.
Steps to Reproduce
- Link a Confluence KB Space to a Service Desk Project
- Add a Table of Contents Macro to any page of the Space
- Visit the Customer Portal directly from the Portal URL
- Search for the page that contains the Table of Contents Macro
- Select the Page to view it
Expected Results
The page loads in a modal window and should contain all content added to the page, including the Table of Contents Macro.
Actual Results
The Table of Contents Macro is omitted from the page, and all other page content works as intended.
Workaround
The workaround we found is to use the Table of Contents Zone macro in the New Confluence Editor instead. Brief steps are as follows:
1. Add Table of Contents Zone to the page.
2. Edit the macro and include the main body/text of the page is inside of the macro.
3. Save the macro and publish the page.
4. Go to the portal and search for this page.
5. The complete page shows up including the macro output.
